Designed with comfort in mind, the rooms are more convenient than a traditional hotel room, ideal for both leisure and business travellers. The aparthotel is complete with a meeting centre, bar, fitness centre and laundry room.
Marlin Aparthotel needed a hotel EPOS system that would be able to effectively manage and serve their guests whilst maintaining control of the business. The system had to streamline customer experience and bookings through the onsite experience.
The system needed a built in reservation diary and booking system that could be accessed directly from the EPOS terminal. The hotel also wanted a way to reward repeat guests with a built in loyalty system.
For the management of the business, Marlin Aparthotel needed to be able to clearly see sales data and KPIs, and wanted their management team to receive a daily email report.

The hotel EPOS system also features customer loyalty software, so the hotel can keep track of specific guests, run targeted promotions, and create point schemes. Discounts can be added and removed with ease within the software.
For the reporting solution, we showed the Marlin Aparthotel team how Gardiff’s extensive reporting suite could identify opportunities for improvements, from the cashing up and end of day processes to daily and weekly sales reporting. We demonstrated how a daily email with key sales data could be set up to be sent to the management team.
Working with the team at Marlin Aparthotel, Gardiff provided initial project management, network implementation, EPOS equipment installation and on-site staff training.
We delivered our EPOS equipment (Hotel EPOS software, countertop terminals, cash drawers) and networked these, connecting them to Wi-fi. Our engineers are qualified to both install the equipment and train staff, providing flexibility for last minute changes, system configurations, and addressing final questions from stakeholders.
Our in-house support staff enabled the back office and arranged access for Marlin’s management team.
