A long standing, 16 year relationship between Gardiff EPOS and Antic London has seen us provide pub EPOS solutions across their unique London sites. Antic’s focus is on genuine and friendly staff, fresh seasonal produce and a selection of wines, ales and spirits delivered with care. They give full autonomy to their managers, chefs and their teams to run each site as if it was their own.

The Brief

Antic were looking for an upgraded touch screen till system across all of their sites that was simple, easy to set up and intuitive to use. 

Having so many sites, they needed the system to feature thorough reporting with real time sales data, trackable KPIs and sales and stock tracking so that they could take strategic decisions on their business moving forwards. As their staff are based in multiple locations, they needed to be able to access reporting from multiple locations using a cloud based EPOS solution. 

Antic also wanted to be able to manage all of their products and menus at each site centrally, so changed could be made by their head office team.

Future planning is important to Antic so the system also needed to be future proof; flexible and stable with the ability to integrate new technologies over time to consistently provide better customer service. 

The Gardiff Pub EPOS Solution

We supplied touch screen terminals designed to withstand the wear and tear of a busy pub environment, with high quality hardware and spill-proof screens. Each site also required kitchen and bar printers, and cash drawers, all networked and connected to wifi.

We set up the EPOS system to include cloud back office reporting, so the Antic management team can access real time sales, KPI and stock control data to keep track of inventory and plan purchases via any internet connected device: PC, tablet or phone. The in-depth reporting also features stock control to easily keep track of inventory.

The group has all of their product files centralised, so they are able to create a product or price update and push this out to all of their pubs instantly or at a scheduled time and date. We have also implemented labour management and forecasting, using an external integration to S4 labour. This allows in depth planning and reporting on rotas and deployment, payroll and shift success.

Our EPOS engineers installed the equipment and gave on-site training to staff on how to use the system. Our support staff remotely set-up and enabled the cloud reporting tools, arranging access for all of the Antic site management teams and head office.
